As we move into 2012, I invite you to ponder these questions: What is the big picture you have for your life? What is it that you really came here to do? What is the passion percolating in your heart that is no longer willing to be denied?
We are often directed away from our passion – our calling – into more practical, financially lucrative means for “making a living.” However, that puts the goal of our life on making money, giving money an enormous amount of power and control over our destiny. That power always declares, “There’s not enough!” Thus a need to work harder and make more. But what if you could switch your focus and see a higher truth? What if you could see God’s hand in every act, in every experience, in every relationship? The truth is you can – when you open your heart to love, to serve, and to remember who you are.
In 2011, I set an intention to embody the spiritual gift of giving by giving $10.00 a day away randomly, this in the midst of my own financial instability. I’m still in the process of contemplating all that meant for me and will write a specific blog to that at a later date. One thing that become clear is why I’m here. To love, to serve, and to remember … The purity of that awareness is spilling over in all areas of my life. I feel a connection to my Divinity that is beyond the need to have God do anything for me. As I love, serve, and remember, I embody the richness of this Divine spark that wants to have its way with me.
I invite you to join me in allowing Love to guide your actions, your intentions, your experiences, your relationships. When you allow Love to be the answer to all your problems, your problems dissipate in Love’s Light. Love is a powerful healing balm, revealing wholeness in all things. It is patient and kind, never needing to be right. It opens to all opportunities and dispels fear in the blink of an eye. The next time you find yourself in a difficult situation, experiencing conflict within or without, invite Love to fill your heart. Let Love be so full that it overflows into the environment around you, touching other hearts. Feel it fill your mind with light until all you can see is beauty. Ask Love to show you another way to view and experience your situation and it will lead you to a gentle, calm, peaceful resolution for all.
From this place of Love, you are serving in the highest way. What could this world possibly need that Love couldn’t provide? In serving Love, you get to be the change you seek in the world. When you see someone in need and show up as love, you empower that person to tap into their own Divinity and allow a Pure Awareness of God’s love to light their path. Your presence and assistance then becomes a conduit for possibility in their lives. One of the big ah ha’s I had with my gifting is that my presence is so much more valuable than any money I could give. When I show up as love and offer a helping hand or word of encouragement, the money I give is multiplied tenfold in the receiver’s consciousness.
As you love and serve in this way, you cannot help but remember who you are. You are a Divine Expression embodying all the qualities of Spirit. Your presence and purpose here are necessary, needed, and important. When done from this place of remembering, all that you do, no matter how great or small, from delivering a baby to scrubbing a floor, is a gift from Spirit. When you remember who you are, every act, every word spoken, every connection with others is a spiritual blessing.
When we join together to love, to serve, and to remember who we are, we exemplify wholeness, magnify unity, and amplify Oneness. May you love, serve, and remember in every moment in every breath. Namaste’

It is so inspiring to me that you discovered your presence is more valuable than any money you can give (although I must say your gifting of $10 a day is awesome!). This reaffirms my desire to serve, to be part of the community in a loving and supportive way.
